Daifuku


Daifuku is a small round mochi stuffed with anko(sweet red bean paste).

However, Daifuku comes in many varieties.
This daifuku is called 'ichigo daifuku' which contains strawberry.

Anmitsu break


Tea Time at Sajin, Ginza

Anmitsu is one of the popular desserts in Japan.
It consists of small cubes of agar jelly, azuki bean paste, boiled peas, shiratama (japanese dumpling made from rice flower), and a variety of fruits.

Today, I chose cream anmitsu. cream anmitsu consists of all ingredients above, and ice cream topping on top.

They serve a variety of green tea as well.
It is very interesting to enjoy many kinds of tea :)

15 minutes very simple, fresh pacific saury dish

Grilled fish with salt is common dish in Japan. Fish contains a wide variety of important nutrition for health including vitamins, minerals, proteins.

PLACE the saury in household fish grill
SEASON with a little bit of salt – set the grill temperature ‘medium’
GRILL about 10 minutes, then TURN the fish over and grill about 5 min
ARRANGE individual plates
